At Maddy Jones Wellness, my mission is to bring people back to the heart of yoga: to its essence as a path of liberation, presence, and self-discovery. I guide students and teachers alike to move deeply, breathe fully, and cultivate awareness both on and off the mat.

I’m here to bust myths, challenge assumptions, and help teachers step confidently into their most authentic selves. I support all students in finding empowerment, curiosity, and joy in their practice. Through movement, breath, meditation, and mindful inquiry, I create spaces where growth, clarity, and embodied wisdom flourish.

Through my yoga teacher trainings, my mission expands: to share the teachings of yoga and empower others to carry them forward. Because the world needs more conscious teachers, and the ripple of this work is far greater than any one of us alone.

Maddy’s Expertise

Maddy Jones is an experienced E-RYT 500 yoga teacher, Yoga Alliance Continuing Education Provider (YACEP), and lead trainer specializing in alignment-focused Hatha and Vinyasa yoga. With over a decade of teaching experience and more than 4,000 hours of yoga instruction, Maddy's teaching is deeply rooted in alignment principles, biomechanics, and mindful movement, supported by her Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology and a 300-hour advanced yoga training in biomechanics.

Maddy's yoga journey began with a foundational teacher training in Thailand, where she immersed herself in Hatha and Vinyasa yoga. Since then, she has pursued a wide range of certifications, including Breathwork & Pranayama, Meditation, Kundalini, Sound Healing, Trauma-Sensitive Yoga, Power Vinyasa, Restore, Sculpt, Slow Flow Vinyasa, and Hot Vinyasa. This diverse expertise allows her to deliver a comprehensive and transformative experience for her students.

As the lead facilitator for 200-hour teacher trainings, Maddy combines her deep understanding of anatomy and alignment with her passion for empowering future yoga teachers. She has guided numerous trainees through asana labs, anatomy workshops, and teaching practicums, equipping them with the skills to teach confidently, authentically, and safely. Her training programs emphasize the balance of strength and flexibility, mindfulness, and the art of holding space for personal and spiritual growth.

In addition to yoga asana, Maddy integrates yogic philosophy, sound healing, breathwork, and meditation into her teachings. Her soundbaths use crystal singing bowls, gongs, and other instruments to harmonize the nervous system and facilitate emotional release, while her moon ceremonies guide participants in connecting with nature's rhythms through reflective and transformative practices.

Maddy’s authentic, compassionate approach inspires her students to grow physically, mentally, and spiritually. Her goal is to help every student—and future teacher—unlock their unique potential, both on and off the mat.
